Utilizing the power of energy
to solve social issues
ENERES, which upholds the vision of “Creating new relationships between people and energy to realize a prosperous future society,” has supported our customers in solving their energy-related challenges. Starting with agency services for power supply-demand management for new power companies, our activities have expanded to include providing services that support corporate power cost reduction and developing energy platforms that contribute to decarbonization and the transition to renewable energy as a main power source.
While energy brings prosperity to people’s lives, it can also threaten the sustainability of the global environment. Additionally, social interest in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and SDGs continues to grow yearly, and we feel the need to accelerate efforts toward balancing social issue resolution with business growth more than ever before.
In February 2021, ENERES established four materialities for promoting sustainability and clarified their associated SDGs. Through these activities, ENERES will strengthen its business activities aimed at solving social issues and further contribute to the development of a sustainable society.
Four Materialities and SDGs
In establishing our materialities, ENERES used the SDGs goals as indicators of social issues and identified which SDGs our existing business activities contribute to. Furthermore, by considering these alongside ENERES’s corporate philosophy, we determined four “materialities” as social issues to focus on.
Going forward, we will listen to the voices of various stakeholders and incorporate their opinions while promoting sustainability activities.
Through addressing these four materialities, we will solve SDGs challenges while realizing both sustainable social development and our own growth.

Promoting Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
The environment surrounding energy is changing rapidly. We will respond positively to these changes and solve social issues while creating synergy by combining diverse strengths. “People” are our most important assets supporting our activities. We aim to create a workplace where people with different backgrounds and abilities can work energetically and an organization where they can demonstrate their capabilities.
Compliance
ENERES not only adheres to laws and regulations based on sincere conduct but also builds good relationships with stakeholders including customers, responds to society’s expectations and demands, and fulfills corporate social responsibility (CSR). The company considers compliance to encompass all of these actions. Through these activities, we will become a company trusted by society, contribute to sustainable social growth, and realize a prosperous future society.
