ENERES Co., Ltd. will hold the event “ENERES Decarbonization Summit 2025 Frontline of Aggregation Business Toward Realizing a Decarbonized Society” from 13:30 on Tuesday, February 4, at Tokyo International Forum, with the theme of “aggregation,” an initiative supporting renewable energy becoming the main power source. The Part 1 Lecture will be streamed online nationwide.
Society and corporations are paying more attention to renewable energy implementation toward realizing a decarbonized society. Supporting this trend, efforts are developing to improve technology for accurately predicting weather-dependent renewable energy generation output and supply “balancing capacity” while utilizing resources owned by companies as power resources. Through such “aggregation,” an era where society as a whole supports renewable energy becoming the main power source and stable supply has already become reality.

At this summit, we will invite a METI official, a university professor, and corporate representatives to convey the current state of the aggregation business from industry, government, and academic perspectives. By discussing the social significance, latest initiatives and know-how, and ingenuity, we hope to consider together with everyone “what phase Japan is in toward making renewable energy the main power source” and “the potential of aggregation as a means to overcome the major challenge of decarbonization.”
