Launch of the Renewable Energy Co-located Battery Control Support Service in April 2026
– Supporting Effective Use of Renewable Energy and Improved Profitability for Power Generators–

ENERES Co., Ltd.
ENERES Co., Ltd. will begin offering itsRenewable Energy Co-located Battery Control Support Service (the ” Service”) nationwide (excluding Okinawa and remote islands) on April 1, 2026.
There is a growing trend among power generators to deploy and operate storage batteries alongside renewable energy facilities such as solar power plants. In particular, the number of generators installing storage batteries alongside solar power facilities transitioning from the FIT scheme to the FIP scheme is expected to increase. As early as FY2026, changes to the priority dispatch rules are expected to result in FIP power sources being subject to output curtailment after FIT power sources. This will enable power producers to generate electricity during hours that were previously subject to curtailment and maximize the use of that electricity through direct delivery to the grid or battery charging, allowing them to trade at the most advantageous times based on market prices. However, controlling and operating storage batteries co-located with renewable energy facilities, including FIP power sources, requires advanced operational capabilities, such as daily power generation forecasting, creating charge and discharge schedules based on anticipated market price fluctuations, and managing complex bidding processes. The Service supports improved profitability for non-FIT renewable energy generators, particularly FIP generators, by providing an integrated solution covering everything from battery and solar facility control systems (SaaS) to operational services. The Service is available for storage batteries (extra-high-voltage and high-voltage) installed alongside solar power generation facilities.
