ENERES aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions (carbon neutrality) from the ENERES Group’s business activities by FY2030.

Since the Japanese government declared its goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, corporate decarbonization initiatives have been accelerating year by year.

To support corporate decarbonization efforts through electricity-related solutions, ENERES provides various decarbonization solutions, including the supply of effectively renewable energy. At the same time, as a member of the KDDI Group—which aims for group-wide carbon neutrality by FY2050—ENERES has been working to measure GHG emissions from its own business activities, while considering a target year for achieving carbon neutrality and developing an implementation plan for ENERES.

With this declaration, ENERES announces that it will progressively reduce its direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions from business activities and achieve net zero by FY2030.

Additionally, ENERES will submit its reduction plan based on this declaration to the GX League.

ENERES will contribute to realizing a carbon-neutral society both by achieving carbon neutrality in its own business operations by FY2030 and by providing decarbonization solutions to customers.
